Super Bloom is a brand new workshop combining both an intentional approach to your creative development along with a deep dive into harnessing your intuition. Let’s figure out together what lights your soul on fire and embrace your natural path towards creative expression.

If you always wanted to push yourself into a more expressive style then learning how to paint abstract florals is the perfect match for you. Wild marks, scribbles, color studies and permission to explore without purpose followed by harnessing all those ideas to make well-composed paintings that radiate is the path we will journey for this Super Bloom workshop. Kellee highly recommend taking a break from your regular life to allow time for creativity to grow.

Invest in this experience that gives you access to real meaningful learning, not just information. In this dynamic, collaborative environment Kellee will guide you as you discover your creative calling and learn how to express it to the world. Commit to the practice and soon your own voice will shine through.

What is Super Bloom?

A super bloom is a rare desert botanical phenomenon in which an unusually high proportion of wildflowers whose seeds have lain dormant in desert soil germinate and blossom at roughly the same time. The phenomenon is associated with an unusually wet rainy season.

In art it is that magical moment where spontaneity meets years of hard work. Where all that you know about painting finally becomes all that you feel.  It’s a rare moment in an artist’s development and it always happens when you least expect it. Quickly, on the spot and without planning is when the muses arrive.

In Kellee’s art practice something just clicked when this series of wild abstract florals manifest themselves. As this new portal opened up, found herself in love with painting all over again. Maybe it’s a culmination of all the years of experience, maybe it’s finally learning to let go of what’s in her head, and it’s probably a whole lot to do with trusting herself… But whatever this magic is Kellee is excited to be here at this very moment. Also, for the opportunity to share it all with you in her brand new workshop that touches on the heart and soul of why we create.

About Kellee Wynne Conrad

Kellee Wynne Conrad was raised in California from a long line of artists, creating is in her blood. In her younger years she lived in a community of very successful artists, all making a handsome living off of the sales of their art. She spent time in their studios, worked in the sculpture foundry, attended exhibits and helped coordinate large art events for the community. Kellee didn’t know how unusual this was at the time, but it has informed her idea that we all have the ability to succeed at doing what we love.

Prior to going full time with her art career, she studied art and art history at Monterey Peninsula College and University of Maryland. She traveled through Europe studying the world’s greatest masterpieces. And she worked in the design industry making trade products for national companies, getting published and teaching classes. But once she decided to make the switch, Kellee went full speed ahead with her art career. From showing locally in Maryland and being represented by national retailer, Maine Cottage, to being curated into an international exhibit in Chelsea, NYC and winning Signature Membership with the International Society of Acrylic Painters, she has found opportunity at every turn. Kellee delved deep into an eight month residency at Jordan Faye Contemporary in Baltimore in 2015 and it was after the experience of focusing intently on her own art that she realized that I thrive best when working with others.

While Kellee has had a lot of opportunities to exhibit with local and national galleries, working with emerging artists was what led her to finally fulfill her vision of an art education program. 2017 brought the birth of the True Colors Art Program™, a thriving, internationally followed online community of color loving artists. It is through this program that Kellee has been able to connect with the hearts and souls of artists around the world, discovering that teaching her love of color and paint is her true calling.
