In this five-day workshop, Margaret will guide students through working with both live models and photos. You’ll spend two days working directly from live models and on another day, you’ll have a photo session with live models to capture them in their environment. Those photos will be used as Margaret teaches you how to not make it look like you’re working from a photo. Alternatively, if you’d like to bring photos of complicated cityscapes, Margaret will work with you to tackle those as well.

Over the course of the workshop Margaret will cover proportions, perspective, color theory and expressive application of pastels.

Student Feedback:

“Margaret Dyer rightfully came with high praise from a friend who urged me to take the class. I enjoyed doing what for me was a real challenge. It will take me time to assimilate all we were taught because I have much to learn! The mutual respect between teacher and student stood out for me. I am eager to take another stab at it next year.”
