Well, what a workshop. What a group. This group was up for anything. First Painters Rock, they painted the day away at North Lake, in the North-South lake park. Actually, they were in the East-West Corner of North South Lake. 😉

Later, our group went back to Catskill Mountain House to sketch. Fun was had by all. Wonderulf paintings came out of the day. A day well spent.

Then today, we sent them out to Athens, which was under siege, literally, by a group of Civil War (?) reinactors. It was the something-centennial of Athens. (I ain’t makin’ this up folks.) Betsy, indominable as ever, took the crew to 4 Mile Point Preserve.

What beautiful paintings came out of today. Very pleasing. Luckily, Betsy got in touch with us via cell and Kim was able to locate them for lunch. (Yes, we use table clothes, deliver fruit, cookies, sandwiches, ice tea, coffee, water and chips. Also a multiple choice of soft drinks.)

Tomorrow, our group will paint on our beautiful grounds. All in all, a productive, fun and wonderful workshop. Don’t forget to take Betsy’s workshop in the winter. It’ll be great. Hot coco anyone? This has been a fun workshop. We’ll miss you all. Betsy, you are a fantastic teacher. Thanks.
