Well, the workshop is winding down, at least for us. Students are checking out and settling up and paying their bills. We have one more lunch and more one tea and then we can relax.

So, in that spirit I was playing with Mr. Spot. Mr. Spot is a barker when he is left alone. So, we tie him up outside near the kitchen so he can see everyone. I haven’t had time to play with him. So, we invented a new game. Normally, he likes to chase or be chased. This game involved him lying down on his side, and then he turns up to me, fast, and I grab his nose and his head and give him a good skitch while putting his head down saying, “Lay a doggy down.” We got a little wild. He started snapping or at least pretending.

Spot is such a good dog. He still looks very young and strong. The oncologist only gave him 6-8 more months. That was almost 5 months ago. He is our beloved Spot. The art students loved him. He’s going strong and thriving on the attention.

What a good boy you are, Spot.
