SHARON CARSON

Sharon Carson's award-winning paintings embody dynamic composition, lively brushwork, and expressive color. She encourages students to make choices - what to simplify, change or eliminate in the scene. Accurate color, values and drawing are stressed, along with rhythm and harmony to make a simpler more expressive statement. In this workshop, she will teach the painting process as a plein air painter, but we'll be painting indoors in the comfort of the studio. Still life exercises will encourage students to think about creative choices that will make their paintings more personally expressive.
