You learn what goes into a successful painting, the importance of good design, the use of color and value, the treatment of edges, and texture. Howard shows you hot to start a painting and what to look for in a subject. He discusses finding the focus, seeing in shapes, losing the detail and experimenting! Howard provides lots of handouts to help you continue learning long after the workshop.
